NHS Research Scotland Infectious Diseases Event 2026

The NHS Research Scotland (NRS) Infectious Diseases Specialty Group is holding a free in-person event on Wednesday 16 September 2026 at the V&A, Dundee
This event aims to bring together individuals working in clinical, academic, and/or research settings across Scotland to share knowledge, build connections, and promote collaboration in infectious diseases research. Participants may include resident doctors, consultants, nurses, laboratory teams and students.

Call for abstracts
Successful applicants will be selected for either a short oral “flash” poster presentation or a poster display. There will be a prize for the best oral poster presentation.
Submissions can be research, quality improvement, audit, or interesting clinical cases, with non-consultant grade presenters particularly encouraged.
The deadline for abstract submission is Monday 29 June. Notification of the outcome will be by email on Monday 13 July.
