Venue
The conference will be held at the Teaching and Learning Centre, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Campus, 1345 Govan Road, Govan, Glasgow, G51 4TF. The venue is fully accessible.
Group Transport
To support delegates to attend the conference and encourage sustainability, complimentary group transport has been offered. Coaches will depart from:
- Glasgow at 8:00am - Queen Street Station, North Hanover Street, Glasgow G1 2AF
- Edinburgh at 7:00am - Edinburgh Park Station, Edinburgh, EH12 9HP
- Dundee at 6:30am - South Union Street, Dundee, DD1 4BY
Transport must have been pre-booked. A confirmation has been issued to delegates to confirm a reservation. Return transport will depart the Teaching and Learning Centre at 5.30pm.
Travel Directions
- By train - the hospital is a 25 minute walk from Cardonald Station (just over 1 mile). McGill’s bus 17 and First 34 pass the station and call at the hospital.
- By subway - Govan Subway station is a 25 minute walk. Buses for hospital grounds are at street level bus stop, not the terminus. The F1, X19 and 26 connect Govan subway to the hospitals.
- By car - the venue is accessible by car but parking around the hospital can be limited. A multi-storey car park is adjacent to the Teaching and Learning Centre - parking is free but a 4hour limit applies. Disabled parking spaces are available on the ground floor of the multi-store car parks, and a drop off point is available directly outside the venue entrance.
- By bike - designated visitor cycle parking and a public bike hire station is located at
