Bev Goldberg
Clinical Studies Officer: Lothian
I began my career in acute medical admissions, toxicology, and the interface team, working closely with A&E and building a strong clinical foundation. I then moved into emergency medicine research, marking the start of my research career, before joining the Clinical Research Facility where I delivered high-quality, patient-centred studies across a wide range of specialties.
With over nine years’ experience—including five years specialising in dementia research—I have recently transitioned into neuroprogressive research as a Clinical Studies Officer. I’m passionate about working closely with participants and their families, striving to help discover new treatments and, ultimately, cures for these challenging diseases.
Outside of work, I enjoy relaxing with crochet, creating everything from whimsical animals to intricate baby blankets. I’m also completely dachshund-mad and happily kept busy with two of my own.
