Nicola Charles
North East Coordinator (Grampian, Orkney and Shetland)
Nicola Charles joined the NHS Research Scotland Primary Care Network team in July 2025. She has an Honours degree in Biochemistry (Immunology) from the University of Aberdeen.
She has worked in research for over 10 years. Most recently as senior data coordinator in oncology where she worked mainly on breast, lung and prostate trials. Prior to this she worked in the Biorepository within the pathology department in Aberdeen.
She also has several years experience within the labs at hospital including microbiology and virology.
